Description
A stunningly accurate large watercolour painting by one of the foremost Devonshire painters of his era at the top if his game. The painting shows a small cove with a high, rocky coastline with a lovely soft sand beach running down to the shoreline. As always with Sherrin’s work there are some sea birds drifting around the shoreline on the breeze and some sailing boats away in the distance. The painting is framed in a gilded hardwood frame, mounted and glazed. The frame measures 85 x 72 cm (33.5″ x 28.5″) and the picture itself is 66 x 51 cm (26″ x 20″).
