Watercolour painting of waves crashing onto a rocky shoreline by listed Canadian artist, Percy Roy Wilson. The picture is titled to the reverse “Rollers At Rockport I”. The picture is framed, glazed and double mounted. The whole thing measures 76 x 58 cm, with the painting measuring 55 x 37 cm.
Percy Roy Wilson Canadian 1900 – 2001. Wilson was born in Birmingham, England but his family moved to Canada in 1913. He studied art and design and became a very talented and respected architect. He worked in The USA before returning to Canada where he continued to paint eventually being elected to the Royal Canadian Academy in 1938.
