This is a fantastic modern oil painting on board by well regarded Norfolk artist Keith Hastings. It is beautifully observed painting of a house boat moored at the waters edge with a couple of swans in flight in the distance with the reeds at the forefront of the painting being blown away from the viewer by unseen winds. It is really well painted and is typical of the high quality of this brilliant artist. The picture is framed in a modern gesso gilt hardwood frame which measures 54 x 44 cm (21″ x 17″) with the painting itself measuring 45 x 35 cm (17.5″ x 13.5″).
Keith Hastings is a full time contemporary artist who is based in the seaside town of Gorleston in Norfolk. He became a full time artist in 1971 and runs his own studio and gallery in his home town. With nearly 50 years experience Keith’s works appear in collections all over the world.
