Description
An interesting oil on board of a Dutch street scene depicting many characters going about their daily business in the mid to late 19th century. Signed “Beekhout” to the bottom right corner. It depicts many people dressed in period and typically dutch clothing, milling about outside a tobacconists shop. Framed in a dark wooden frame it measures 60 x 50 cm with the painting itself measuring in at 50 x 40 cm.
